This tool is especially great if your event involves more than one venue, or if your attendees are travelling to you from out of town – make your attendees happy by creating a map for them! It takes the guesswork out of their day and they are more likely to visit each venue.

Slideshare

Slideshare is a great tool for events that make use of presentations, so this is right up your alley if your organization is holding an arts education or theatre management conference featuring multiple speakers and presentations. By creating an account for the event you can gather and host all of the speakers’ presentations in one place – easy to find, easy to share!

With over 60 million unique visitors a month, this tool also offers a unique form of advertising through the sharing of knowledge. Users have access to presentations, infographics, webinars and so much more! Best yet, it’s completely free to use and easily linked with your organization’s other social media accounts.

Make use of your social media channels and current connections by engaging with potential attendees before your event, and actual attendees afterwards. This allows you to go straight to the source to find out what your attendees hope to see, where your event excelled, and also where there’s room for improvement.
