How Many Clicks Does It Take a Community Theater to Change a Light Bulb?

community theater light bulbWe’re not sure, but we know it is fewer than it takes to process a ticket order. Here’s the deal: most box office ticketing software systems for community theaters require far too many clicks to process a ticket order.  In speaking with community theaters, we often ask how many clicks it takes to process a box office ticket order?  After they think about it, typical answers are 5 to 8.If your box office software requires more than three or four clicks to process a ticket order, I’ll bet you have long lineups of impatient ticket buyers just before the event, or you are forced to have several people handling the ticket selling process.

TicketPeak requires three clicks to process a reserved seating ticket: 1) Click the seat; 2) Click “Take Cash”, 3) Click Print Ticket.
