As always, a wide selection of ticketing software companies naturally provides a wide range of services at a variety of price-points. The Capterra reviews show that these ticketing systems all work for performing arts organizations; however, there are (in my opinion) a few systems that are missing important features:

  • TicketingHub does not offer reserved seating.
  • Glitnir Ticketing System, TicketingHub, Titan, RezWare XP7, and TICKETsage Custom Solutions can’t offer season ticketing.
  • HoldMyTicket, TicketingHub, and WizTix do not offer fundraising management.

Perhaps your performing arts organization doesn’t require fundraising management or season tickets…but it’s our experience that most do. Reserved seating is also a very important feature for performing arts organizations – especially theatres – to take into consideration, as it can make a tremendous impact on the overall ease and speed with which you run your events.

Of course, we think that you should also consider our own ticketing system, TicketPeak. Call us biased, but we truly believe that our system holds its own against our competitors and offers feature-rich cloud-based software at a very reasonable and cost-effective price-point.
